We are selling "pre-banned" ivory heads 7/8" wide and tails 1/2" wide, all varying slightly in width, thickness and length. The ivories have been removed from old ivory pre-ban upright pianos. They are used but would be good replacements for missing ivories on your keyboard or would be very suitable for jewelry, scrimshawing and etc. The pieces have been wiped off on the tops, but a small amount of wood and glue residue remain on the back. The ivories are from different pianos so they are different shades but with no cracks or chips. They show telltale signs of having been used for musical enjoyment. I also have fronts and tails with slight cracks and chips as well as broken fronts and tails that can still be used for crafts and inlay projects available upon request. We do not ship outside of the U.S. Please note; This is from the Convention on the International Trade in endangered Species list; “The importation, selling and buying of this ivory IS NOT ALLOWED INTERNATIONALLY. It cannot be exported or imported to the U.S. and most of the countries delegated to the U.N., BUT... it is LEGAL TO OWN, SELL, BUY, or SHIP within the boundaries of the U.S. and there are NO PERMITS or REGISTRATION requirements!
