Dampp Chaser Humidifier Pads and Treatment Information

Goodyear Piano Service is an experienced installer of the Dampp Chaser piano Life Saver systems in pianos since 1968.  Units are sold with installation only by Goodyear Piano Service.  Please call for prices.

Humidity control supplies listed below are available when Goodyear Piano Service services your piano.
*Tank size can be determined by measuring the depth of the tank inside the piano.

          7.5oz or 16oz bottle of humidifier pad treatment,
          Replacement humidifier pads
          Tank Liners
          Clean "Sleeves" for pad protection from humidifier rod
​          Any other climate control items needed to to keep system working

Upright pianos: The tank (which can be either a 9" or a 5 3/4" deep tank, often called a universal tank ) will be located most always in the lower right space inside of the piano. Open the bottom cover that is in front of the knees when playing the piano by depressing one or two leaf springs or any other locking mechanism that holds the cover in place. Measure the depth of the tank from the inside top of the tank to the bottom

Grand pianos: The tank (which is usually a 5 3/4"tank , also called a universal tank) can be found under the piano soundboard hung between the beams of the piano. The piano could have a black undercover which would have to be opened. Measure the depth of the tank from the inside top of the tank to the bottom.
